Just Peace Movie Night
Just Peace Movie Night is a program that aims to engage the broader public in important conversations around justice and peace through film and storytelling.
The power of film and storytelling is used to humanise and illustrate complex issues. In the past year, we have already organised twelve Just Peace Movie Nights. With these recurring film screenings, we create space for dialogue on topics that are relevant to The Hague peace and justice community.

What subjects did previous films discuss?
The topics the films discuss range from LGBTI+ rights, climate issues, impact of war on education, genocide, economic desperation and more. Previously we have shown All That Breathes, YUMI, One Small Visit, The Mind Game, War on Education, Behind the Numbers, Aurora's Sunshine, Blue Carbon, A Small Act, On the Fringe, Mother of All Lies and The Elephant Whisperers.
Organisations such as The Peace Palace, World's Youth for Climate Justice, Het Filmhuis The Hague, Hivos, Human Rights in the Picture, Stichting Queer Mind, Eurojust, Euroclio and Resilient Foundation have organised a movie night with Just Peace.
