The Hague is home to 200 intergovernmental and non-governmental organisations. Think of the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court, Eurojust, Europol and the OPCW. NGOs such as Unicef and Oxfam Novib and virtually all foreign embassies and consulates are located in The Hague. International organisations, knowledge centres and companies like to cooperate with each other, because that yields new knowledge and innovative products. Most international organisations are located in the International Zone. This is also where a number of embassies are located.
