The Interactive Media Foundation (IMF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating cross-media and interactive narrative projects on socially relevant issues.

Founded in 2013 and based in Berlin and Ludwigsburg, IMF focuses on innovative storytelling formats that build cultural bridges, shed light on global challenges, and offer fresh perspectives. Supported by philanthropists, foundations, and public funding, IMF engages audiences with pressing issues such as environmental sustainability, climate resilience and justice, societal change, and digital transformation. Through co-creative teamwork, and a passion for experimentation, IMF develops impactful projects that are showcased at prestigious festivals, museums, educational institutions, and in schools worldwide.

IMF partners with a diverse network of cultural and scientific institutions, civil society organisations and media professionals to deliver award-winning productions, such as virtual reality experiences, installations, interactive exhibitions and cross-media media campaigns.

With a commitment to creativity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and public engagement, IMF empowers individuals to become change-makers and to co-create a more inclusive and sustainable future.
