Hague Women's Days

During The Hague Women's Days, we reflect on the emancipation and position of women around the world. During the week of Monday, March 4 to Sunday, March 10, 2024, various events, organised by (women's) organisations and the cultural anchors of The Hague and the municipality, will take place during the celebration of The Hague Women's Days.

Fixed elements that recur in this week are: the Ria Sikkes lecture, a debate and a movie night and the presentation of the Hague emancipation prize: the Kartini Prize. This year's theme is: 'One world, a thousand women; a wealth of diversity'. It is about the differences and similarities between women from different cultures. A theme that focuses on how beautiful it is that all women are unique and different but also have similarities.

During the Haagse Vrouwendagen everyone can inspire each other, but can also learn from each other during various workshops, inspiration sessions and performances that are freely accessible to all visitors. Everyone who cares about emancipation and the position of women is welcome. An overview of all activities can be found in the program.

The Hague Women's Days will take place from March 4 to 10 in The Hague.
