Queer History Month

In March 2025, the fifth annual Queer History Month will take place in the Netherlands. IHLIA and other participating cultural institutions will once again collaborate on a platform that focuses on the celebration and transfer of LGBTIQ+ histories, stories and achievements.

This is the fifth edition, so the anniversary year naturally also calls for a new house style and website. The first results of this can already be seen on this site.

This year, we are proud to present a database containing 40 objects with queer themes from 40 different museum and archive collections in the Netherlands. What remains is that this year we also have an overview of programs that our partners have organized. So let yourself be surprised again by a great range of guided tours, lectures and other interesting meetings.
