Dialoog Support in your Coming Out

How can you support friends or family who are exploring their sexual orientation or gender identity? In the run-up to Coming Out Day on October 11, 2024, we want to focus on how we can support each other as fellow citizens in discovering and expressing sexual orientation and gender identity. What does it mean to offer support in these vulnerable moments? How can we be there for each other without directing or judging? During this dialogue, we will share our personal experiences with giving and receiving support. Together, we want to discover what works well and develop practical tips that we can all apply.

Program (incl. snacks and drinks):

• 15:45: Reception with coffee, tea and something tasty
• 16:00: Introduction to the dialogue
• 16:25: In dialogue
• 17:55: Plenary session in which we discuss practical tools
• 18:15: Informal chat with a snack and drink
• 19:00: Farewell
