Come to the Stadmakersfestival 2024 in Amare on November 15! We put city makers from The Hague in the spotlight and celebrate all the great initiatives in the city.

The theme this year is 'The Hague, Soft City'. We learn from and with each other: what works well, what do we encounter and how can we work better together?

Program

The program includes 21 sessions on social topics such as inclusivity, living environment, participation, energy transition and sustainability. City makers, social initiatives, funds, (social) entrepreneurs, researchers, students and civil servants organize this festival together.

Highlights

• Food Connection Places: an inspiring session by Our Food about places in the city where food brings people together.
  
• Energy cooperatives: a session on setting up energy cooperatives in vulnerable neighborhoods by Sustainable The Hague Foundation.
  
• Circular economy and sustainable fashion: the Naaierij and the Ruilbank create more awareness around sustainable fashion.
  
• City walk: walk together with Urban Sensing Lab (USL), knowledge institutions and residents through The Hague and map air quality and places where it can get really hot.
