Join us for Dutch Veterans Day on Saturday, June 24, 2023.

A day in recognition and appreciation of veterans. Military personnel are deployed on behalf of Dutch society in war or similar circumstances. During Veterans Day, the Netherlands thanks veterans who have served in the service of peace, past and present.

History
Dutch Veterans Day is an annual tribute in The Hague to all Dutch veterans. Various ceremonies such as a parade and a fly-past over the parade ground take place during the event.

National event
The Netherlands has more than 110,000 veterans - young and old, male and female - who have served in the service of peace. As a tribute to veterans, the National Veterans Day Committee organizes Dutch Veterans Day in The Hague every last Saturday in June.

Festive day
Dutch Veterans Day is also a festive day. Not only for veterans, but for everyone. So come see the impressive and colorful national parade of thousands of veterans. Veterans, soldiers, dozens of marching bands and historical and modern military equipment present themselves to all of The Hague and the Netherlands.
