SDG Action Week: Act Together Now!

  • Date: 27 September 10:00 - 20:00
  • Location: Centrale Bibliotheek Den Haag

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are seventeen goals to make our world a better place by 2030. These goals guide action to address our planet's challenges and create a sustainable future.

We invite you to participate in our interactive activities and exhibition on the occasion of the SDG Action Week taking place September 23, 25 and 27, 2023 at the Central Library in The Hague.

Our program is fun, interactive and educational, and it is accessible to a wide audience, young and old. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the SDGs, participate in engaging activities and contribute to positive change in the world.

In collaboration with Montessori Waalsdorp Elementary School in The Hague, artworks by students in grades 6-8 will also be on display. We invite you to come see the art exhibition of the students, inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The artworks created by the children are a wonderful reflection of their understanding of the SDGs and their commitment to a better world. It is a unique opportunity to admire their creativity and commitment to important global issues.

On Monday, September 25, students from InHolland The Hague will creatively engage the broader public on the topic. The students will engage in conversation with visitors to discover what the SDGs mean to them as residents of The Hague. The conversations will be captured through podcast and video recordings.

Date: Saturday, September 23, Monday, September 25 and Wednesday, September 27, 2023
Location: Central Library, Spui 68 2511BT The Hague
Time: Continuous during opening hours

Come and join us, because together we can make a difference and work towards a more sustainable future for all of us. We hope to welcome you during SDG Action Week to celebrate together the power of community and collaboration.
