Climate Justice at the World’s Highest Court – What are the obligations of States under international law concerning climate change?
The International Court of Justice announced that the oral hearings for their Advisory Opinion on the obligations of states with respect to climate change will begin on 2 December 2024.
Therefore, the Academic Committee of GOSSA has partnered up with World's Youth for Climate Justice to organize this panel to discuss learn more about the Advisory Opinion, what the role of the court it, why it is important and what its implications are.
Our diverse panel will allow you to get different perspectives around international law and how it impacts governance of the climate.
