''My Point, Your View''

  • Date: 08 September 17:00
  • Location: Korte Vijverberg

The Justice & Peace team and Yves "Kayene" Kulondwa are inviting you on the 8th of September, at 17:00 at Korte Vijverberg 2 in The Hague.

Yves is a cartoon artist from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), a human and environmental rights defender, and a current resident of the Artists’ Safe Haven initiative of Justice & Peace. Yves and the Artists’ Safe Haven team will be present during the opening.

The exhibition puts Yves' perspective on pressing societal and environmental issues on display using symbolism with a comedic touch. Through cartoon art, Yves navigates sensitive and taboo subjects with a touch of lightness. With this exhibition, he invites you to look through his eyes and elicit your own opinion afterwards.

Prints of Yves's artworks will be available for sale during the exhibition, and you can support his effort of developing a platform and training sessions for critical young creatives in the DRC with a donation.

Help Justice & Peace reach a wider audience by sharing this with your friends and network! After the official launch, the exhibition will be accessible upon request via the registration form below.
