Colonial past
The Hague Historical Museum organized an exhibition on the colonial past and present of The Hague from March 25 to September 3, 2023. During this lecture you will be taken through the exhibition at a glance. You will hear the stories of colonial administrators as well as the people who at the time felt the consequences of their decisions. You will also discover the stories of several fellow citizens of The Hague. They show how The Hague's colonial past still affects people's lives today.
