Navigating your career in the world of peace & justice can be tough; with so many potential causes, career paths and types of organisations. Sometimes it can even be difficult to imagine what a potential career path can look like, or to know where to begin.

That’s why we invite you to join ‘The Handshake’: an event series where we invite senior figures from the world of peace & justice to reveal the ins and outs of their careers and network with students!

This session taking place in collaboration with Leiden University, will conveniently take place on campus bringing the speaker directly to a hub of young talent. This edition features Cecilia Thorfinn, with years of experience in public communication for European institutions, currently working as Deputy Head of Representation and Team Leader Communications at the European Commision.

This event is aimed at students and young professionals interested in learning more about careers in the sectors of international governance, European integration and public communication.
