De Haagse Wetswinkel

Come to the consultation hour for free legal advice. (Not during vacation periods)

Do you have a problem with your employer, landlord, the government or upstairs neighbor? Or do you have questions about divorce, personal injury or your rights

as a consumer? Then come to the consultation hour, where you can present your story to law students who will provide you with free legal advice. They can also support you with letters and appeals.

The Hague Law Clinic is free and works without an appointment. So you can simply drop by at one of the walk-in hours. Bring as many papers related to your question as possible. For example, rent contracts, employment contracts, invoices, letters from the debt collection agency, and anything else related to your case.

Sometimes our staff can answer your question right away, but often they need to figure some things out before they can answer your questions. They may need additional information to give advice. Then they will discuss with you what you can still do and what documents you still need to provide. Within one week, they will let you know what the developments are in your case.
