LUCIR US Elections Roundtable 2: Comparative perspectives on the results and where the US is headed to now

  • Date: 11 November
  • label.tijd 17:00 - 18:30

After the 2024 US elections...

How do we explain the elections results? What was surprising about the elections? What are their implications for the US and its relations with Europe? How did political violence affect the results (if at all)? What role did social media play during the campaigns?

Please join the round table to discuss these and other questions with panelists from the social sciences and humanities providing insights on contemporary US politics from an interdisciplinary and comparative perspective. After short inputs from the panelists, there will be time for the audience to ask questions.
