Art-exhibition and debate: Man & Nature

  • Date: 20 April 19:00
  • Location: The Hague Peace Project

On the 20th of April, the Hague Peace projects (HPP) is hosting an event called 'Man and Nature'.

'Man and Nature' is a public discussion and art exhibition to explore the broader story surrounding the climate crisis. We will look at the link between the exploitation of the earth and colonialism, discuss the pros and cons of giving rights to nature, and talk about how to restore our relationship with the earth and each other. The evening will mark the opening of an art exhibition inspired by the theme 'Man and Nature' and feature the work of two activist artists (Jakob de Jonge and Steen Bentall).

With a panel of invited expertise (Chihiro Geuzebroek, Jan van de Venis and Sophie Kwizera) and a diverse audience we encourage an open and participatory evening to delve into this important theme.

HPP believes in facilitating multiple perspectives, grounded in knowledge and different view points to better understand the motivations of interested parties and the implications, repercussions, and the story behind our assertions.
