Virtually visit the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) – a small intergovernmental organization with a big impact.
Many families around the world suffer from not knowing what happened to a relative who has disappeared. Governments are obliged to investigate missing persons cases and to ensure that families of the missing have access to truth, justice and reparations. ICMP works with governments to help them account for the missing, including by offering support in advanced DNA analysis to identify human remains, and it works with families to help them access their rights.
Learn about ICMP during a virtual visit that includes an introduction by ICMP Director-General Kathryne Bomberger, a webinar that highlights how ICMP helps families and a tour of the lab where ICMP scientists extract DNA to help find the missing.
The program starts at 15:30 and ends at 17:15
