The International Zone in The Hague is an area where many famous and important international organizations are located. Thousands of people work here every day to make the world a better, fairer and safer world.
They work for organizations such as the United Nations International Court of Justice, which is located in the iconic Peace Palace. Or at Europol, the law enforcement agency of the European Union. But how come these organizations have established themselves in The Hague? And why are they precisely in this zone?
During a walk through this area you will learn everything about the past, present and future of the International Zone in The Hague. How this war zone was converted into a peace zone.
