The spotlight is on the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in The Hague. OCHA’s office in The Hague is composed of its Strategic Communications Team, Digital Services Team, and the Centre for Humanitarian Data. Join to learn how OCHA supports the humanitarian system through its advocacy and campaigns, platforms and digital services, and by increasing the use impact of data in the sector.

The Hague is the international city of Peace and Justice. The Humanity Hub is at the heart of this unique ecosystem, providing a home for organizations striving for a more peaceful and just world and acting as a catalyst for collaboration. This diverse community of professionals is working every day towards innovating their sectors, from humanitarian action and justice innovation to peacebuilding and education.

Among these is the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). OCHA coordinates the global emergency response to save lives and protect people in humanitarian crises. OCHA advocates for effective and principled humanitarian action by all, for all.

What to expect

The Open House event will last about 45 minutes with an overview of the organization and a focus on specific projects.
