Ukraine, 2025: The war against Russia has been won, but has left the Ukrainian people defeated. Former soldier Sergey has difficulty adjusting to life outside the military. When the factory where he works closes, he gets the chance to give his life a new meaning. Sergey accidentally stumbles upon a volunteer organization that is digging up bodies to identify, name, or at least provide a dignified burial. Director Valentyn Vasyanovych does not shy away from fierce, explicit images, but also shows warmth and humanity in a post-war, desolate landscape in beautifully staged shots.
