On Saturday 24 October, the Dutch United Nations Association (NVVN) will light up various landmarks to commemorate the United Nations’ 75th anniversary. The fountain the Scheveningen pier and the Ferris wheel, the Hague City Hall and the Peace Palace will all be lit up in blue. The lights will be switched on at dusk.
The UN’s 75th anniversary will be celebrated across the country. The municipalities shown on the map are taking part and will light up various historic buildings, towers, statues, streets, squares and fountains in UN blue.
